Jeffrey Kerr is the most conscientious, caring and trustworthy agent one could possibly imagine. He helped me fine-tune my needs for a condominium and was extremely patient, narrowing the search for the requirements of a couple down to a single person as my circumstances changed. The whole process was seamless as Jeffrey had all of the business details so well organized and coordinated that I had little to worry about. The search for the perfect condo took over 3 years from the time we started and by the time I found my wonderful home I had looked at dozens of potential purchases. Jeff's patient guidance and knowledge were invaluable and I would wholeheartedly recommend him and his expertise. To round out Jeff's attributes, he handles all the stresses and strains of his clientele with a great sense of humour.
My admiration for Jeffrey Kerr began several years ago when a disabled relative of mine had a heartbreaking experience with an accessible condo she and her husband had purchased from the builder's plans. In actuality the final result was far from accessible for wheelchairs. As a result of this devastating experience Jeffrey made it his mission to become thoroughly knowledgeable about the housing needs of the disabled and to become an advocate for them.
Since then he has expanded his area of expertise to the population of seniors who are downsizing to condo living. I am one of those seniors. I am deeply indebted to Jeffrey for his diligence, expertise, ability to help me focus on my real needs in the face of overwhelming choices, and above all for his patience in guiding me toward my perfect condo. I am thrilled with my purchase and couldn't have done it without Jeffrey's help.
In February of 2013 my son died suddenly. He had been disabled for approximately thirteen years prior to his death. His apartment in Toronto had been modified to suit his specific mobility issues.
When the time came to sell the condo I was at a loss as to whom to choose as a real estate agent, as I lived about three hours from the city. I was fortunate to have many contacts at Lyndhurst rehabilitation hospital and one of them suggested I contact Jeffrey Kerr.
This was an excellent referral as Jeffrey proved to be a fine real estate agent. He is very familiar with the needs of individuals who have been disabled in some capacity. Because of his experience he was able to use his list of contacts and referrals to expose the property to numerous prospective buyers.
I was also impressed with the promotional material and the virtual tour he put together to promote the sale. After the listing was signed he updated me after every visit to the condo by an interested party. Jeffrey provided excellent assistance with the closing of the property and provided extra help with issues throughout the sales process.
Jeffrey made a very difficult time much easier with his understanding personality and his thoroughness. I recommend him highly to individuals or families interested in buying or selling a property in the GTA.
There's a guy I've met and had the pleasure of getting to know. His name is Jeffrey Kerr and he specializes in helping people in wheelchairs buy and sell homes. He is also working with deaf people and blind people. It is his SPECIALTY. You should check him out on Facebook, check out his site at and refer your clients to him. It IS a specialty, and he's been doing it for years.
I could compete with Jeff as we overlap areas but you know what? I recommend him for this speciality and without hesitation.
Now that I've moved my family into our new home, I would like to take a moment to thank you for all your hard work and dedication in helping me find the property and helping me in getting the required modifications done to it to make it accessible. The service you provided me was truly unique and exceptional. With my busy schedule, both at home and the office, it was extremely difficult for me to have the time to personally visit all possible properties in a timely fashion as they came on the market and then to schedule repeat visits to determine if they could accommodate an elevator and have other required accessibility modifications completed. With the market conditions being as tight as they were, all the good properties were sold before I would have had a chance to visit them multiple times. That's before you stepped in and completed an ongoing intensive search and inspected properties on my behalf. You were able to visit the properties in a timely fashion. Once your initial inspections found possible properties meeting my defined requirements, you took the time and effort to get experts to help inspect the properties and give me opinions and estimates for the required modifications. I would recommend you to anyone looking for an accessible property. In fact, I would recommend you to anyone looking for an agent to help them find their new home.
Working with Jeff was a wonderful experience! He really took the time to understand what we were looking for, even as we were figuring it out ourselves. He was the consummate professional and was with us every step of the way from offer to ownership. As first time home buyers we felt like we had an experienced partner working with us. We would recommend Jeff without a moment’s hesitation!
I have employed the real estate services of Jeffrey Kerr of RE/MAX UNIQUE for over 10 years and have always found him to be friendly, professional and extremely helpful in dealing with the needs of me and my family.
Following the sale of our most recent Toronto house in less than 2 weeks he arranged a condo rental that perfectly suited our budget & lifestyle and also expertly handled our desire to sublet in a timely fashion.
I would, without reservation, recommend the knowledgeable services of Jeffrey Kerr to manage all your real estate needs.
Our situation of finding a home in Toronto was a very complicated one. I was attending school in London, Ontario while my finance was working in Victoria, BC. Complicating the matter, we were on very stringent time constraints due to our schedules and since we were searching for our first house together, we did have different opinions of what we should be looking for and in which area.
During our search, Jeff worked extremely hard to narrow down the focus of what we were looking for. This was an extremely difficult task given our divergent preferences. He also was extremely accommodating to our schedules when we flew in and out of Toronto. We also found him very comfortable to deal with and found him to be very patient when we couldn’t make up our mind and encouraging or supportive, when we encountered obstacles in the process.
What really impressed us is the work that he did without asking. On places we were interested in, he would phone and find out if there were termite issues and even after we closed the deal on the place, he met with our by-law officer and picked up an application form for a new driveway from city hall. These two items exemplify his character and work ethic.
In summary of our dealings, we would definitely use him again and would highly recommend him to anyone else, regardless of the situation.
We recently had the pleasure of dealing with Jeffrey Kerr in our move to Toronto. His high level of service and communication from inception to closing date, the breadth of research, attention to detail and his knowledge of market trends created a highly successful and pleasurable sales experience. He is a consummate professional and we recommend him highly to anyone looking to purchase or sell a house.

I am writing you all to share a fabulous Real Estate resource, Jeffrey Kerr.
We found his services to be exceptionally professional with a personal touch that included bottled water and snacks as we set out to search for our new home. He kept everything really organized, was always prepared, not to mention incredibly flexible with our busy work schedules. He helped us find a place that met all of our requirements in a tough mid-town market, which I had been warned could take months to achieve.
After only three weeks of listings, his experience helped us close on our dream home against the odds of multiple offers and the fact that we were about to get out-bid! He really is worth calling if you are looking for a new place to live, we couldn’t have been happier with his entire approach and delivery.

When we decided that we should sell our 5 bedroom house in the Eglinton Avenue Road area. This had been our family home for well over 30 years. Our real estate agent, Jeff Kerr wished to have the house on the market by the end of February and we were traveling most of January. So under Jeff’s supervision, we spent February discarding, storing, painting, and retouching. Jeff organized a “virtual tour” to be put on the Web – our adult children said that they didn’t recognize their home – it looked so bright and airy and attractive. Then we left for Florida for 10 days during which the house was open to potential buyers – many many people were through our home. Our home had urea formaldehyde as insulation and was tested as completely safe over 20 years earlier, but we felt that this might bring the selling price of the house down. Jeff had our house appraised and all the information on the urea formaldehyde was totally available to potential buyers. At Jeff’s suggestion our asking price was about $100,000 more than we would have asked. The day after our return, we sat in Jeff’s office and “received” offers. Most offers were over the asking price and the one that we accepted was $100,000 over the asking price. Wow!! With that settled, Jeff helped us research and view condominiums, both old and new, and in many areas of Toronto. Within a month, we had settled on a new 3 bedroom condo in the Yonge – York Mills area. We moved in June 2006 and feel completely at home here. Thanks Jeff, we couldn’t have done so well without you.
